PNB edges higher after putting NPA accounts for sale to recover dues of Rs 1,234 crore

Punjab National Bank is currently trading at Rs. 61.30, up by 0.05 points or 0.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 61.25 on the BSE.


The scrip opened at Rs. 61.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 61.55 and Rs. 60.80 respectively. So far 254435 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 99.90 on 01-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 58.65 on 01-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 62.40 and Rs. 58.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 28245.83 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.41%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.00% and 8.60% respectively.

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has put up for sale nearly a dozen non-performing assets (NPA) to recover dues of more than Rs 1,234 crore. The accounts include Visa Steel, which has irrecoverable dues of Rs 441.83 crore, IndBarath Energy (Utkal) Rs 414.23 crore, Aster Rs 113.57 crore and Om Shiv Estates Rs 100.16 crore. The sale is on 100 percent cash basis.

अदाणी एंटरप्राइजेज (Adani Enterprises) ने शुरू की नयी सहायक कंपनी

अदाणी एंटरप्राइजेज (Adani Enterprises) ने अदाणी लखनऊ इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट (Adani Lucknow International Airport) नाम से एक नयी सहायक कंपनी स्थापित की है।


अदाणी लखनऊ इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट लखनऊ में स्थित चौधरी चरण सिंह अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे के संचालन और रखरखाव संबंधी गतिविधियों को अंजाम देगी।

शुक्रवार 06 सितंबर को शुरू की गयी अदाणी लखनऊ इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट अहमदाबाद (गुजरात) के कंपनी रजिस्ट्रार के पास पंजीकृत है। अदाणी लखनऊ इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट की अधिकृत शेयर पूँजी और चुकता शेयर पूँजी दोनों 1-1 लाख रुपये की हैं।

उधर बीएसई में शुक्रवार को अदाणी एंटरप्राइजेज का शेयर 2.35 रुपये या 1.73% की बढ़ोतरी के साथ 137.90 रुपये पर बंद हुआ। इस भाव पर कंपनी की बाजार पूँजी 15,166.38 करोड़ रुपये है। वहीं पिछले 52 हफ्तों में कंपनी के शेयर का सर्वाधिक भाव 180.70 रुपये और निचला स्तर 113.00 रुपये रहा है।

Havells gains on launching first complete square pedestal fan ‘Aindrila’

Havells India is currently trading at Rs. 658.50, up by 6.50 points or 1.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 652.00 on the BSE.


The scrip opened at Rs. 653.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 661.05 and Rs. 653.50 respectively. So far 5572 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 806.90 on 28-Jun-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 549.70 on 19-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 680.25 and Rs. 627.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 40802.34 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.52%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.73% and 8.75% respectively.

बाजार में मजबूती, 10,900 के करीब पहुँचा निफ्टी

कारोबारी सप्ताह के अंतिम दिन शुक्रवार को बाजार में अच्छी शुरुआत हुई है।

दोनों प्रमुख सूचकांक मजबूती के साथ खुले हैं, जिनमें निफ्टी 10,900 के करीब पहुँच गया है। धातु और फार्मा शेयरों को छोड़ कर बाकी सभी सूचकांकों में मजबूती है, जिनमें सर्वाधिक बढ़ोतरी आईटी, ऑटो, इन्फ्रा, एफएमसीजी और बैंक में दिख रही है।

बीएसई सेंसेक्स (Sensex) 36,644.42 के पिछले बंद स्तर की तुलना में बढ़ोतरी के साथ 36,785.59 पर खुला। 9.20 बजे के करीब सेंसेक्स 197.08 अंकों या 0.54% की वृद्धि के साथ 36,841.50 पर है। वहीं एनएसई का निफ्टी (Nifty) 10,847.90 के पिछले बंद स्तर के मुकाबले 10,883.80 पर खुल कर 51.70 अंकों या 0.48% की बढ़ोतरी के साथ 10,899.60 पर है।

दूसरी तरफ छोटे-मॅंझोले सूचकांकों में भी मजबूती है। बीएसई मिडकैप में 0.13% और बीएसई स्मॉलकैप में 0.16% की वृद्धि है। वहीं निफ्टी मिड 100 में 0.14% और निफ्टी स्मॉल 100 में 0.32% की बढ़ोतरी है। इस समय निफ्टी के प्रमुख 50 में से 33 शेयर और सेंसेक्स के प्रमुख 31 शेयरों में से 24 शेयर मजबूत स्थिति में हैं।

Sensex falls slightly, Nifty remains below 10,850

On Thursday, the Sensex fell marginally on the major indices of the market, while the Nifty closed flat.


During the trading, the Nifty had reached above 10,900, but later it lost all the gains. Today, there were good purchases in metals, vehicles, infra, oil-gas, pharma and energy stocks. Experts believe that investors are worried about weak September quarter results.

The BSE SENSEX (BSE SENSEX) opened at 36,821.71 this morning, up from the previous closing level of 36,724.74 points. The Sensex climbed to an all-time high of 36,898.99 during the session and finally closed at 36,644.42, down by 80.32 points or 0.22%. The NSE Nifty of NSE closed at 10,847.90, up 3.25 points, or 0.03%, from a previous closing level of 10,844.65, at 10,860.95. Today the Nifty upper level remained at 10,920.10.

Out of the 50 major Nifty stocks, only 34 stocks gained strength and 16 stocks weakened. At the same time, out of the 31 major stocks of BSE, 19 stocks registered an increase and 12 stocks declined.

Among today's heavyweights, Tata Motors gained 7.81%, ONGC 5.17%, Yes Bank 4.12%, NTPC 3.26%, Maruti Suzuki 2.41% and Mahindra & Mahindra 2.23%. Among the falling stocks, HDFC 2.67%, ICICI Bank 2.16%, TCS 1.35%, HCL Tech 1.26%, Kotak Mahindra Bank 1.23% and Asian Paints 1.07%.

Today, out of the total shares of BSE, 1,451 shares weakened compared to 989 shares, while 145 stocks remained flat.

Small-medium indices have a better position than major indices. BSE Midcap (0.15% in BSE Midcap) and 0.72% in BSE SmallCap was recorded strong. On the other hand, the Nifty Midcap 100 was up 0.30% and the Nifty Small 100 (Nifty Small 100) saw an increase of 0.80%.

TVS Motor trades in green on the bourses

TVS Motor Company is currently trading at Rs. 360.95, up by 8.05 points or 2.28% from its previous closing of Rs. 352.90 on the BSE.


The scrip opened at Rs. 351.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 363.45 and Rs. 346.40 respectively. So far 47215 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 604.00 on 21-Sep-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 340.30 on 31-Jul-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 379.00 and Rs. 344.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 17148.27 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.40%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 32.09% and 10.52% respectively.

TVS Motor Company has registered sales of 290,455 units in August 2019 as against sales of 279,465 in July 2019, and 343,217 units in the month of August 2018.

Total two-wheeler registered sales of 275,851 units in August 2019 as against sales of 330,076 units in the month of August 2018. Domestic two-wheeler registered sales of 219,528 units in August 2019 as against sales of 275,688 units in the month of August 2018.

Total motorcycle sales of the company registered 109,393 units in August 2019 as against sales of 131,743 units in August 2018. Total scooter sales of the Company registered 109,272 units in August 2019 as against sales of 126,676 units in August 2018.

The Company's total exports grew by 6% increasing from 66,028 units in August 2018 to 69,702 units in August 2019. Two-wheeler exports grew by 4% increasing from 54,388 units in August 2018 to 56,323 units in August 2019.

Three-wheeler sales of the Company grew by 11% increasing from 13,141 units in August 2018 to 14,604 units registered in August 2019.
